Meeting of the Board of Directors in London

The Board of Directors met on 16^th January 2009 in London, Uk, in the office of RadcliffesLeBrasseur.

This meeting was a good opportunity to evaluate the results of last year, whose most important achievements were the following:

• 3 new members (Romeo Nicolescu law office in Romania, Studio Longhi in Lugo (Ra) and Studio Pizzorni in Genoa, both in Italy);
• Annual conference in Poznan, Poland with 17 represented countries. Many thanks to Kancelaria Celichowski-Szyndler-Wieckowska i Parterzy, Pragma member in Poland, for its warm welcome.
• Trip of a Pragma delegation to Shanghai, China, with the excellent organisation of Jesa’s team and its manager, Saro Capozzoli;
• Two exchanges of lawyers (Juanjo Olle from Barcelona, Spain spent one month at G.C.Consultants, New York, USA and Federico Rossi from Lecco, Italy spent three months at Jesa, Shanghai, China)
• Fee sharing system operating for 3 years with an increase in average number of referred files.

The Board then forecasted Pragma activities in 2009, with a special emphasis on the international event planned in Chile in Spring 2009 and the annual conference planned in Burgundy, France in Autumn.

Last but not least, all the attending members of Pragma were very happy to meet the representatives of RadcliffesLeBrasseur and look forward to working with them in the near future. Many thanks for their warm welcome!
